New quilting designs for Makower uk

I've recently been working on a new group of designs for Makower uk. This is a fairy group which will be printed onto cotton and used for quilting fabrics.

Each group takes a lot of work and consultation with the team at Makower uk. But its worth it for the end result. I think this group turned out well, so I hope it looks good when it comes back from the printers!

Owls

Owls have been a lifelong favourite of mine, so when I was asked to design a whole range for Makower uk I was delighted! Here is a peek preview for you to see. Along side the owls sit a range of patterns, including birds butterflies and flowers. These designs will be printed onto cotton and then distributed to retailers.

Designs for quilt makers

During the past few months I have been designing for a new client, Makower Uk who make fabrics for the quilting market. Its been steep learning curve!! It is very different to making quick and quirky ideas for the fashion market. Everything needs to be a lot more considered and well rendered. Saying that they were very pleased with the first batch of designs we did, with an afternoon tea theme. Now the samples are going to be printed up in Korea, and the boss has promised me a quilt made up in my range! If that does happen I will post a picture for sure!
