Red poppies are stunning, one of my favourite flowers. This time of year we have plenty growing along the coast path brightening up my days. I painted these when I was doing my degree.
I think poppies are so pretty. Even with the connotations of war that surrounds them they are just lovely. Loved your drawing of your friend with red hair. Good luck with your etsy selling.

I love poppies too! There have been some really massive ones round here. At least, I think they were poppies. And in purple! Gorgeous painting. :o)
they last such a short time, I love the poppies in my garden. I know that they are weeeds really but I just love them.
